Inside Sales Executive - APAC (Singapore)

The Role

As a self-starter with a strong drive for success, you will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential clients throughout Asia pacific reviewing their current market data strategy and trading solutions to discuss with them how the features involved with our solutions could help improve their performance.

The Impact

You will be equally responsible for educating the potential clients about QuantHouse Solutions products and solutions. This will be done by working with marketing channels to help create targeted campaigns, both virtual and physical, and doing the follow-up.

You will also take advantage of incoming leads and be responsible for building on them and transforming them into qualified projects for the team or filing them for future efforts when you come too early in the project process. Identifying decision makers, maintaining and expanding the database of prospects and building standard quotations will also be part of your duties.

We want to hear from candidates who are highly articulate and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and are competent in exceling over the phone in a consultative environment. Looking for a challenging role, candidates must also be target-driven, highly motivated and excited about developing relationships over the phone and on the field.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to

  • Prospecting and qualifying campaign related or inbound leads through calling and emailing campaigns
  • Researching new prospective clients and carrying out proprietary email campaigns
  • Creating and releasing targeted messaging through various media
  • Calling “suspect” and prospective clients
  • Maintaining and updating the corporate CRM
  • Coordination of ongoing sales opportunities created by the Inside Sales

Skills & Qualification

  • Previous experience in the financial IT services industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience in trading solutions/support/operations would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in Direct Market Access or Execution services relationship management would be advantageous.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent is required, all domains will be accepted though Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management or a related degree will be a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience of prospect/end-user client interaction and documented records of sales achievements is required; strong negotiation skills with a record of favorable outcomes demonstrated by the ability to gain customer commitments and shortening the sales cycle.
  • Highly autonomous, extremely organized and professional with superior written, verbal and non-verbal communications skills, you will ideally have previous experience with a CRM tool.
  • This person will be focusing on the APAC market and Mandarin is required whilst Contonese, Japanese or Korean would be a plus given our clients coverage in these areas.
